Booking Rules
To confirm a booking at Bantu Africa Resort, a deposit of 75% of the total reservation cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid on or before the event date. We welcome families, and children under the age of 4 can stay free of charge. For children sharing a room with parents, a fee equal to 50% of the adult rate will be charged, while those occupying their own room will be charged 75% of the adult rate. For guests seeking efficiency during departure, an express check-out option is available. Please note that all bookings are subject to room availability at the time of reservation.
Room Rules
Guests may check in from 2:00 PM onwards, and check-out is required by 11:00 AM. We do offer early check-in, depending on availability. For the security and comfort of all guests, we ask that lost or damaged key cards be reported immediately, as a fee of KES 1,000 applies for replacements. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and enclosed areas; however, designated smoking zones are available within the resort. We kindly ask all guests to maintain the cleanliness of their rooms and use the facilities responsibly.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your reservation, cancellation is free of charge 7 days prior to the arrival date, after this time we charge you as follows: –
- 48hrs or less prior to the event 100% cancellation fee on anticipated loss
- 3 days or less prior to the event 75% cancellation fee on the anticipated loss
- 6 days or less prior to the event 25% cancellation fee on anticipated loss
In cases of no-shows or early departures, 100% of the total reservation cost will be charged. Should you need to change your booking dates, such changes are subject to availability and may involve additional charges.
Payment Terms
Payment for bookings can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or credit/debit cards. All rates quoted are inclusive of all statutory and government taxes unless otherwise stated. Any additional charges incurred during your stay, such as room service or activities, must be settled at the time of check-out.
On billing – we bill per the confirmed number. Where actual materialization is less than confirmed, we bill per confirmed number. Where actual exceeds confirmed number, we bill the total number of participants.
Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure your stay is safe and comfortable, Bantu Africa Resort is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings during your stay. Additionally, guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to resort property during their stay and may be charged accordingly.
General Rules
Bantu Africa Resort reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a reservation if a guest violates these terms and conditions or engages in unlawful behavior. The resort also reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya and shall be interpreted accordingly.
